Jay Ajayi declared for the NFL Draft a year early following a season in which he rushed 347 times for 1,823 yards and 28 touchdowns – all Boise State single-season records. He added 50 catches for 535 yards and four touchdowns, becoming the first player in Football Bowl Subdivision history to pick up more than 1,800 yards rushing and 500 yards receiving in the same season. Ajayi led the nation in scoring in 2014, averaging 13.7 points per game. He concluded his career with 678 rush attempts for 3,796 yards and 50 touchdowns. Ajayi was selected in the fifth round of the 2015 National Football League Draft by the Miami Dolphins.
